So, it looks as though the rumour mills have kicked into action over the weekend with journalists speculating that Apple is experimenting with a watch or smartwatch. Both the The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times have a run a report today suggesting that this may be the case.

They suggest that Apple may design this smartwatch with curved glass and will run Apple’s iOS platform. If this is the case, then you can assume that this watch will be compatible with the vast majority of Apple products.

Now, from my own research last year, I found that there was a slight decrease in the amount of young people purchasing watches. I mean, when you think about it, every single device on your person has some form of clock. Adding another one in the form of a wristwatch just doesn’t make sense.

Hey, who am I to question Apple? I didn’t think the tablet would do that well and just look at how many have been sold.

Would I buy a smartwatch? Definitely not! Do I think Apple could sell these? Probably, they pretty much re-write the rule book when it comes to new tech.

I set up Hot Deals Monster because I was frustrated with the lack of deals specifically targeted to Men. I wasn't interested in cheap nappies or 10p off my next box of cornflakes. I wanted real, interesting deals that would genuinely help and save money for the male consumer.
