Looks As Though EE Is Expanding Their 4G coverage To Even More Towns

As I mentioned in a previous article, Everything Everywhere (EE) was the first network to get the 4G service up and running in the UK and it looks like they’re expanding their coverage even further. From June, they’ll be increasing their coverage by an extra 27 towns to bring the amount towns that they cover to 65.

EE is looking to cover 55% of the country’s population by June this year which is a very ambitious goal but kudos to them for setting such high targets.

In a statement they said:

“Our business customers want a 4G network that covers the markets in which they operate, and that is exactly what we are building for them – and at a phenomenal rate. We’re set to cover more than half of the UK population by Summer, staying ahead of the schedule that we set for ourselves at launch, and continuing to demonstrate the amazing value of 4G mobile to many organisations with different challenges and different needs.”

There have been a lot of people have criticised EE for the amount they charge for the 4G service but I suppose in real terms being the only player in town means you can actually set prices. I think they call it capitalism.

I set up Hot Deals Monster because I was frustrated with the lack of deals specifically targeted to Men. I wasn't interested in cheap nappies or 10p off my next box of cornflakes. I wanted real, interesting deals that would genuinely help and save money for the male consumer.
