EE, the mobile communication company has just announced that it is now available in 9 more towns and cities in the UK. Hooray! Those lucky locations that now have access to the signal are Watford, Barnsley, Walsall, Chorley, Telford, Coventry, Rotherham, Newport and Preston. So those towns and cities covered now totals 27.

EE’s Chief Executive Officer, Olaf Swantee, said: “We’re committed to making the UK’s first 4Gservice available to as many people, as quickly as possible. We’re setting the pace for the delivery of 4G in the UK, and it’s a great achievement for our engineering teams to be able to launch in another nine towns this month, enabling more and more consumers and businesses to take advantage of superfast mobile internet.”

In my last article on 4G, I suggested that both  the industry and the government need to do more to improve connectability to lots of people in the countryside who can’t even make a telephone call, forget about 3G or 4G. It’s all well and good connecting these towns and cities with the latest 4G signals, but I think it will be money well spent if they sort out these simple connections for communities that are in need of basic mobile communication services.

I set up Hot Deals Monster because I was frustrated with the lack of deals specifically targeted to Men. I wasn't interested in cheap nappies or 10p off my next box of cornflakes. I wanted real, interesting deals that would genuinely help and save money for the male consumer.
