So did you think you had problems? Apparently not, just ask Rowan Atkinson‘s insurers. When he crashed his beloved McLaren F1 supercar last year no one actually new what the true cost would be to have it repaired. Well, the cost is over £900,000 which is quite a lot for the insurer to stomach. They won’t want to be insuring too many of these types of cars when people crash them!

Roman crashed the car back in August 2011 where he suffered a fractured shoulder blade in the process but that’s nothing compared to how much pain the insurer now feels.

I find this hard to believe, but it’s true, the car and she spent more than a year at McLaren headquarters in Woking Surrey whilst they worked out how much it would cost to repair.

One of the fastest road cars in history, the McLaren F1 can do over 240 mph and cost rolling £640,000 back in 1997. He managed to buy this after the proceeds of the first Mr Bean film.

I set up Hot Deals Monster because I was frustrated with the lack of deals specifically targeted to Men. I wasn't interested in cheap nappies or 10p off my next box of cornflakes. I wanted real, interesting deals that would genuinely help and save money for the male consumer.
