These are what our readers have voted the best watches for men in 2013.

I’ve got to admit, a lot of these are gorgeous and just wished my bank account stretched enough to be able to afford one :)

If you’re interested, here’s the list:

1. 88 Rue du Rhône – This bad boy tops the list of “best watches for men in 2013″. Surprisingly, it has topped the list and is probably the newest brand out of them all coming out of Switzaland at the moment. Introduced by the Bernheim brothers; Elie and Pierre. Grandsons of the famous Swiss watchmaker Raymond Weil.

I think it may also have some thing to do with the price and actual availability in stores. Either way, a great choice guys and kudos to ya! Take a look at their latest offerings.

2. A Lange & Söhne – These watches have some traditional features like a hand engraved balance cock,  fusee and chain transmission, screwed gold chatons and the whiplash precision index adjuster. I didn’t know what some of these were and had to look them up. A quality watch and brand that will be around for many more years to come. Take a look at their latest offerings.

3. Alpina – This is an independent watchmaking company based in Switerland (where else). These watches are exclusive to The Watch Gallery in the UK and they are well known for only releasing quality watches and really great prices. I think that may be one of the reasons why it’s one of watches that’s in the top 5 of this impressive list! Take a look at their latest offerings.

4. Audemars Piguet – These guys just celebrated the 40th anniversary of its signature model, the Royal Oak. Take a look at their latest offerings.

5. Ball Watch Company- These guys have had a really great year so far. Bearing in mind that they just signed a deal with infamous BMW brand, providing a decent range of shock-resistant and lightweight watches. Take a look at their latest offerings.

6. Baume & Mercier - the Capeland chronograph is probably their best looking watch to date. The brand instills family values and quality! Take a look at their latest offerings

7. Bell & Ross – These guys actually made their name on the older BR01 models. They’ve suddenly decided to design a more retro style of watch and have also made a sports watch, the “BR126 Sport”. A very nice brand and a great quality watch. Take a look at their latest offerings.

8. Blancpain - Since their Chinese market is growing 10-fold, they’ve decided to incorporate a really complicated Chinese calender into their design. It apparently consists of 434 different components. Take a look at their latest offerings.

9. Breguet -Abraham-Louis Breguet was well known as being the best watchmaker in all the land in his day. Take a look at their latest offerings.

10. Breil - This is an Italian and apparently they got a lot of their inspiration for design from celebrities. Which ones? I really don’t know. Looks good to me though. Take a look at their latest offerings.

I set up Hot Deals Monster because I was frustrated with the lack of deals specifically targeted to Men. I wasn't interested in cheap nappies or 10p off my next box of cornflakes. I wanted real, interesting deals that would genuinely help and save money for the male consumer.
